I’m an Iranian listener and I’m asking you to talk about Iran.
Iran is in the middle of a revolution. The Islamic regime is massacring civilians, shutting down the internet, and even using foreign militias. The internet has been shut down for more than 12 days, with only very limited connectivity. We can only hear from our families through extremely difficult and unreliable direct phone calls only can initiated from inside Iran. Consistent reports Iran indicates more than 12,000 people brutally were killed in just two days.
After decades of failed reform and many peaceful resistances met with escalating violence and brutality, many Iranians, especially those inside Iran, now believe they need outside help to survive and to end this regime.
I believe this is one of the most important moral issues in the world right now, and I strongly hope you will discuss Iran.
